Stalybridge Celtic Juniors player Cameron Smith has signed for Liverpool FC.
Cam has been with Celtic Juniors since starting with the reception group at the club’s Saturday Soccer School when he was 5. From there he joined the under 7s Whites and has played for them for the past two seasons.
Cameron’s mum Natalie Morris said ‘An amazing day for Cameron’s signing day for Liverpool FC. Some inspiring stories from people who have done the journey that Cameron is starting. Whatever the end result we are so proud of how far he has come already.’
His Dad Aaron has been a popular face at the club too helping coach and volunteering on work and maintenance projects.
All of us at Stalybridge Celtic Juniors wish Cameron well on his football journey. He has been a credit to the club and his family during his time with us and we can’t wait to see him continue learning and improving at a club with an excellent academy track record.
