Oh What a Night

Saturday 18 May saw 1200 players, parents and club volunteers come together for the end of 2018/19 season presentation night at Wright Robinson College.

From pan-disability, girls and under 7s teams celebrating their first full season, all the way through to the under 15s teams, some of whom have been with the club since being five years old. Thirty-one Stalybridge Celtic Juniors teams celebrated a successful season.

Every team had their moment on stage where each player received their trophy. Most Improved, Players Player and Managers Player awards were also announced for every team. Club-wide awards were given out for Player of the Year, Best New Player, Team of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.

The defibrillator fund raffle also raised nearly £700 towards the purchase of two additional defibrillators for the club. The total raised now stands at £1400 when combined with fundraising at the Soccer School.

Huge thanks to everyone who put in hundreds of hours behind the scenes and on the night, and of course to all our Celtic Family who give their time all year round providing the opportunity for local children to love playing football for Stalybridge Celtic Juniors.
