Kits for Kenya Ready for Dispatch

Thanks to everyone who donated to our Kits for Kenya appeal earlier this year. Lots of items of kit, from shirts to boots and jackets to goalie gloves, have been washed and packed ready to send to Mombasa.

Son on Celtic Juniors Life President May Cross, Derrick Cross, has close family ties to Mombasa and is a keen supporter of Lynx FC. All donated items will be shipped to Derrick who will distribute the kit to young players at his club and other local teams. Most of these players don’t own any football equipment at all, no kit, no boots.

All the items will be greatly received and will enable players, just like all the boys and girls at Stalybridge Celtic Juniors, to enjoy playing football with their friends.
