EMJFL have released the following statement regarding pre and post match handshakes:
The EMJFL have decided to air on the side of caution and suspend the Pre and post match handshakes until further notice.
Whilst no known cases of (Covid-19) Corona virus have been reported with anyone connected to the league. With over 10,000 children participating in games each week we feel it is important to act in a responsible manner and take notice of advise circulated by the NHS.
All games will still go ahead as scheduled and match officials will be notified.
