After ten years volunteering at Stalybridge Celtic Juniors, Paul Hafford has stepped down from his duties.
‘Today I stepped down from Managing my grassroots football team after 10 years at Stalybridge Celtic Juniors, and It’s been an absolute roller coaster.
Three times league winners, one league cup and relegated twice. Won club team of the year and saw my son win club player of the year for the same season.
Being a volunteer coach has been a fantastic experience and I would encourage anyone to give it a try, you’ll love it.
Thanks to Garry Pearce, Mike Taylor and Carl at the club for all your support. Thanks to Ali Çakır for being my right hand man and a friend for life. Most of all, thank you to my wife Caroline and Ali’s wife Clare for supporting Ali and me. One love, Stalybridge Celtic Jnrs. 👊🏻⚽️’
Thank you for all the hard work and countless hours you’ve put in to managing a team, coaching at the Soccer School, and helping with club projects over the years.
From all of us at Stalybridge Celtic Juniors, thank you Paul! #celticfamily
