Kane, who plays for our under 7s, was sadly hit by a car coming out of school on Thursday, just hours before what should have been his first night back at training after months of being in lockdown.
His fractured wrist means he won’t be able to play for 3-5 weeks. This weekend his team won the MCR Sports tournament. Not wanting Kane to miss out, his teammate Theo asked if he could have an extra medal for Kane to cheer him up.
The tournament organisers kindly obliged and Theo called to deliver the medal on the way home as a surprise.
