Following a disrupted 2020/21 season Stalybridge Celtic Juniors have gone from strength to strength since the return of grassroots football and are raring to go.
September welcomed the start of the new football season with junior teams from across the borough playing their opening games. At Celtic Juniors we have welcomed more new players than ever before as children have looked to become active since the easing of restrictions. Three new under 7s teams have been formed from the Soccer School and the Soccer School itself has averaged more than 100 players every week.
Along with new players joining the Juniors have recruited several new volunteers. The new coaches have been working alongside more experienced members to learn the fundamentals and grow in confidence before taking their own groups.
Everyone at Celtic Juniors is excited for the season ahead and would like to thank the people who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes making sure everything is ready (don’t mention the FA Whole Game System!).
