Thanks to our partnership with Active Tameside Sport & Physical Activity Network, all Stalybridge Celtic Juniors members can access free advice and rehab for injuries from Freehab.
The Active Tameside Sport & Physical Activity Network have partnered with Freehab https://www.freehab.co.uk/activetameside – the aim is to provide FREE advice and rehab for musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. They are injuries, aches and pains of the muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, spine, and nerves. Some common examples are:
- Lower back pain and sciatica
- Neck and shoulder pain
- Joint pain and arthritis
- Sprains, strains and muscle pulls
- Sports injuries
- Long term pain
- Postoperative advice and rehab
Why is it FREE? – Freehab is a social enterprise, meaning we exist primarily to deliver our service rather than making a profit. Any money we do receive is reinvested to ensure that we can help more people.
Instead of having fees, we provide the service for free but allow people to make a voluntary contribution for the appointment if they want to. People who choose to contribute can choose the amount and doesn’t influence your access to our service in any way.
We also get funding through partners, sponsors, community funds and grants
Freehab will conduct an in-depth assessment before providing advice and if we’re not the right people to help you, we’ll help you by signposting you to the best people to help with your problem.
